MORE ON THE SEMINAR:

This seminar is a supplement to the material and experience that will be provided by the organizers of the regional ACDFA event hosted by the Dance Department at Weber State University. There will be two scheduled meetings for the seminar on Friday and Saturday, March 19 & 20, 2010 from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm. Both seminars will include some discussion of the purpose and craft of Dance for the Camera as a film medium as well as a dance medium.

The guest presenter for the seminar will be Scott C. Halford, founder and Executive Director of the Foursite Film Institute in Ogden, Utah. Scott will lead the discussion on Dance for the Camera and will moderate the question and answer periods following the showcase of the curated works.
